Empowering the next generation
The ‘Oli ‘Oli Club was formed to provide a platform for students to build character and confidence through creativity, self-reflection, and service learning. Our goal is for each member to have a positive, enriching, and fun learning experience.
Mindfulness is reinforced at each club meeting, as students work on art projects, attend off-campus events, and participate in service projects.
What we do:
Community keiki events
We host free keiki events at South Maui Gardens with activities and creative projects designed to foster stronger connections to themselves, their families, and their community.
Character building and life skills
Areas of focus include:
■ Commitment and accountability
■ Active listening/mutual respect
■ Organization and time management
■ Group communication skills
■ Visualization and grounding
■ Consideration and gratitude
Service learning
‘Oli ‘Oli members collectively identify opportunities within their community, developing teamwork, collaboration and planning skills as they engage in local service projects.
Boosting academic success
To sharpen skills, overcome challenges, and gain the confidence to excel academically, ‘Oli ‘Oli Club members can receive individual or group summer tutoring sessions and participate in STEAM activities.
